Join the Sign and Shine Community Program in supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in local areas in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Your contribution will help fund a non-profit to provide essential services and build a strong community. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for these children.

Our nonprofit is in its early stages. The services below reflect the programs we are actively developing to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and their families, While not all services are currently available, this page shares our vision and the impact we are working toward.

ASL Education

Aims to provides accessible American Sign Language instruction for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, hearing individuals, families, educators, and community members. Through engaging classes and workshops, participants develop communication skills that foster inclusion, connection, and understanding.

Community Workshops

To create a welcoming space for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, families, and allies to connect, share experiences, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes. These gatherings encourage collaboration, peer support, and meaningful dialogue within the community.

Community Events

Aims to bring people together through social, educational, and cultural activities that promote accessibility, awareness, and belonging. From family-friendly gatherings to special celebrations, these events strengthen relationships and build a more inclusive community.

Mentorship Program

Aims to connects Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and support for personal, academic, and professional growth. Through positive role models and meaningful relationships, participants gain confidence and develop skills for future success.

Vocational Training

Aims to equip participants with practical workplace skills, career readiness tools, and professional development opportunities. Through training, workshops, and mentorship, individuals are empowered to pursue employment, higher education, and long-term career success.
